My name is Jennifer. You can call me Jennifer or Jen! I am 28 years old, unless I've forgotten to update this blurb! I am a wife and mother to two beautiful little boys. I have 3 large dogs, named Spot, Loretta, and Ripley. I have one cat named Lace.

My little family and I live in a small town in Tennessee, but I was born and raised in Michigan. I can't say that I miss the cold! I met my husband when I first came to Tennessee. I was coming to visit family for 2 weeks, but my then-boyfriend and I split while I was visiting and I just never went home. Easiest across-state move ever! I met my husband shortly thereafter and, while I wasn't looking to jump right back into a relationship, we became fast friends. It didn't take long for me to realize that somewhere along the way, we started dating. I accepted my defeat and happily continued on falling in love. We married in 2018, on a Friday the 13th accidentally, and went on to have our two children in 2020 and 2022, respectively. Along the way, we acquired a few animals, and bought a house in the town my husband grew up in.

But before all of that, I lived in Michigan, perfectly unhappy and depressed. My home life was not ideal, but I don't like talking about that too much. I turned to reading and eventually writing to escape. I devoured books at an inhuman pace and once I began writing, I wrote much the same way. I wrote chapter upon chapter daily. I am happy to announce that, while I never stopped reading and writing, I do so at a much more subdued rate, since I have much less to escape from these days.
